Movement 2602 is a mechanical, manual winding-up movement.

Watch by Pobeda Aviator, a vintage Russian brand. This timepiece features an original mechanism and a new case. The Pobeda’s simple, 15-jewel movement, which was based on a French design, was cost-effective, dependable, and simple to manufacture and keep in service. In the years before World War II, during a period of rapid industrialization in the Soviet Union, the Soviet government sought international assistance and expertise in order to develop a domestic watch and clock industry. Following a lengthy search, the French watch manufacturer LIP was selected; the company established a new watch factory in Penza and licensed several movement designs to the newly formed company. One design, the R-26 movement, which dates back to 1908, was further developed and renamed the K-26 movement after it underwent significant changes from the original design. These plans were temporarily halted by World War II, but following the Allied victory, this watch design was completed in Penza and full-scale production at the First Moscow Watch Factory began immediately. Pobeda (Victory) was the name chosen by Joseph Stalin to commemorate the end of World War II.

The watch was beautiful, but it stopped working.
